Vickery Families Jump Together for Fitness

Vickery Families Jump Together for Fitness

Every Monday in June, kids and moms jump rope for family fitness at Jack Lowe Sr. Elementary School.  According to the American Heart Association, getting at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity each day lowers risks for heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.  The Community Council’s Gold Medal Kids program funds summer jump roping class where Vickery parents model healthy living for their sons and daughters.
