DAAA Earns $22,500 Grant to Fight Chronic Disease

Daaa grant check 22,500

Over 80 percent of seniors live with chronic disease. One-third of seniors have diabetes. Thanks to a grant from the Texas Medical Foundation Health for Life Program, the Dallas Area Agency on Aging helps seniors live longer and feel better by managing the symptoms of chronic diseases. DAAA uses an evidence-based model program created by Stanford University.
