Dallas Commission on Children and Youth
The Dallas Commission on Children and Youth, founded in 1974,
works to
identify strategies to improve the lives of Dallas’ youngest citizens. Reorganized in 2008, the Commission studied best practices and existing research.
They conducted community focus groups before deciding on its emphasis to
decrease drop out rates.
