Get Free Legal Help For Your Divorce on February 27

Do you need help filing for a divorce and cannot afford an attorney? The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program offers assistance with uncontested divorces on Monday, February 27, at 5 p.m. at the Belo Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue, Dallas 75201 (corner of Ross & Pearl, downtown Dallas across from the Cathedral). Arrive early to ensure you get the help you need.

Services are free.  Eligibility includes: meeting financial guidelines, Dallas County resident, legal resident or U. S. citizen. Free assistance is available only if you and your spouse agree on property division and have minimal property, spouse must not contest anything, and no family violence within the prior two months. You must also attend three daytime classes.  Need assistance before or after the clinic? Visit one of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program’s other legal clinics held in the Dallas area eight times each month. For a full listing of the clinics, visit
www.dallasbar.org/dvap.

What is the Dallas Volunteer Program? It’s a joint program of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. Attorneys donate their time and legal talent to provide free legal services to low-income clients who qualify for help.
