The Community Council of Greater Dallas is the group that helps people in Dallas County learn about and apply for state benefits such as:

·     SNAP food benefits (formerly called food stamps)

·     CHIP/Children’s Medicaid

·     CHIP Perinatal Benefits

·     Texas Medicaid Women’s Health Program

·     Long-term care (Medicaid for the Elderly and People with Disabilities
